About Retail Measurement Services
Retail Measurement Services is a syndicated service to track movement of consumer goods from manufacturer to the consumer through the retail trade, in which clients would be able to track sales, distribution and causal factors for markets and brands over time.
Responsible for leading key Nestlé categories like Breakfast Cereals, Coffee, Culinary Mixes, PET CARE across the Middle East region.
Continuous interaction with the Insights, brand & CCSD teams to understand business queries, issues & needs.
Responsible to deliver presentations across all categories for core markets to brand teams which will help them understand their yearly performance.
Responsible to deliver error-free reports & deliverables across categories.
Responsible to understand client issues and suggest appropriate Nielsen solution and coordinate with respective Nielsen teams.
Drive business needs through consultative selling post understanding Nestlé’s objectives.
Responsible to ensure timely payments from Nestlé to drive continuous cash flow from the client.
Working closely with internal cross-functional teams to ensure client queries are resolved & expectations are met.
Maintain a client service orientation by managing day-to-day administration of client service / sales activities and coordinating on analysis and reporting of assigned research projects.
Serve as primary contact to client contacts on ad-hoc analyses and understand and respond to questions on content, basic data issues/questions, report generation, etc.
Assist senior staff in delivering quality services to clients and ensure the services provided to clients are timely and precise according to client business needs and specifications and at the same time meeting the company's quality standards
Assist in sales activities in conjunction with senior staff in terms of preparation of proposal and credential presentations
Provide "in office" research, administrative and operational support to senior staff
Be directly accountable for work conducted for their nominated clients in terms of analyses, charting, etc and perform quality checks on all reports for alignment to request, accuracy and correctness
Typical Position Pre-requisites
MBA Preferred
5+ yrs Experience in FMCG / Service / Retail industry
Strong Client Focus and Proactiveness
Working knowledge of statistics and multivariate analysis
Working knowledge of research techniques and methodologies
Effective writing skills
Knowledge and familiarity in Nielsen’s Retail Measurement Services business is highly desirable
