Job description

MWH, now part of Stantec, is looking for a Office Manager to support our Bahrain operations.
The Office Manager will be responsible for managing the office and supervising the Administration Department. The Office Manager will also be required to support the Business Unit Director as required.
Key accountabilities for this position include but are not limited to:
Office Organization and Design
Manage office operations, procedures and policies
Maintaining the office condition and arranging necessary repairs with facility management vendors.
Ensure office efficiency is maintained by carrying out planning and execution of equipment procurement, layouts and office systems
Manage contract and price negotiations with office vendors, service providers and office lease
Coordinate office activities such as meetings, celebrations and conferences.
Manage the front desk along with the Receptionist.
Administrative Support
Draft correspondence, proofread documents and assist with preparation of presentations
Provide assistance to research, compile, proofread and edit text and graphics for reports and proposals
Assist with document (proposals, reports, contracts etc.) printing and production (binding, collating, quality checking, packaging, shipping, etc.)
Monitor and process routine administrative items such as accounts payable, expense reports, supply requisitions and transactions
Manage and supervise administrative support for Business Support teams (IT, Finance, HR, Marketing)
Executive Assistant to the Business Unit Director
Schedule meetings and appointments; update calendars; assist with travel arrangements
Perform document control administration
Organization wide point-of-contact for Business Unit Director
Collaboration and Teamwork
Actively and effectively manage the performance of the administration team by coaching, counseling, and disciplining employees; planning, monitoring, and appraising job results.
Coordinate office staff activities to ensure maximum efficiency
Follow safe work practices and adhere to company guidelines and policies for planning and executing work in a safe manner.
Complete all work in line with MWH Core Values and in accordance with the MWH Quality Systems and Project Quality Procedures.
Diploma/ Certificate from a recognized University.
Minimum 5 Years’ Experience In Office Management/support.
Experienced in Immigration and Labor regulations and laws.
Good command of English.
Valid Driving License.

A flexible approach to working hours and travel; with occasional weekend work if required.
