Scope of Position
Reporting to the Learning & Development Manager and working closely with other members of the Human Resources team. The Learning & Development Executive will support positive employee relations and promote our company’s values. In collaboration with the Learning & Development Manager and the Director, Human Resources, they will be involved in the creation, implementation and facilitation of all Mandarin Oriental colleague training.
Manage all office administration responsibilities related to training, including all incoming and outgoing emails, employee filing; and ensuring smooth paper flow and maintaining the orderliness and cleanliness of the office.
Administering the purchasing process for training materials. Maintaining accurate inventory of all supplies and equipment within Human Resources.
Assisting the Director, Human Resources & Learning & Development Manager in completing special projects as required.
Assist in the creation, implementation and facilitation of the hotel training plan that is aligned with the hotels goals & targets.
Co-ordinate, execute and follow up on all training activities within the hotel.
Facilitate and support hotel specific and corporately sponsored learning initiatives.
Provide support and development of departmental trainers as required.
Monitor JD Power Guest Satisfaction, JD Power Meeting Planner Satisfaction, Guest Name Usage and CES results, and support appropriate follow-up actions through collaboration with the Human Resources and Executive Team.
Coordinate, conduct, or facilitate in-house audits to ensure standards are met.

Maintain an ongoing training calendar for the hotel and ensure learning resources and opportunities are maximised.
To carry out colleague hotel tours and external cultural visits as part of MOve In.
To proactively collect training nominations for all training programmes in accordance to related audience.
To send joining instructions for L&D programmes in a timely manner.
To maintain colleague training records using the hotel training matrix and filing attendance sheets monthly.
Champion all colleague recognition initiatives, including monthly recognition committee meetings and related colleague events.
To ensure colleague performance reviews are carried out in a timely manner following PROFILE deadlines.
Design posters, presentations for colleague L&D events and Departmental Trainer meetings.
To arrange the printing of all necessary L&D Manual & training workbooks in a timely manner.
To facilitate training programmes as requested by the Learning & Development Manager in line with GTT standards (MOHG Group Training Techniques).
